Hard skills
- Embedded Software Development – Strong understanding and experience with collaborating with Embedded systems
- EMI/EMC Knowledge – Demonstrated experience with electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards and practices.
- eCAD Software Proficiency – Experience with Altium or similar electronic CAD software.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging – Advanced ability to troubleshoot and debug performance issues in hardware systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Sustaining Manager to ensure electronic boards and hardware are maintained in optimal working condition.
- Define and execute rigorous tests for both hardware and software components.
- Troubleshoot and debug performance issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors and hardware suppliers to resolve sustaining issues, such as managing end-of-life components and securing replacements.
- Provide technical support for hardware-related issues, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
- Adhere to industry-standard processes and procedures to maintain high-quality and compliant operations.
- Work cross-functionally with engineers and production teams to support the manufacturing line and ensure seamless integration of hardware components.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in hardware engineering, with a deep understanding of sustaining platforms across multiple product families

Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with Altium eCAD software.
- Expertise in embedded software development.
- Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC standards and practices.
- Solid understanding of various hardware devices and their applications
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex hardware and software issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
